It is one thing to intellectually know the truth about God and His salvation. It is another to accept it and actively follow Jesus as He leads you. An intellectual acceptance of the authority of Jesus as Lord and Savior will not save you from the wrath of God. Even the demons know these facts - and shudder.1 In order to be justified before God, you must believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord.2 An empty confession of faith will not be accepted.3 In your confession of faith, you must repent4 of your former lifestyle and follow Jesus as He leads you.5
