Salvation: Becoming right with God
Introduction
Salvation is a process by which one becomes right with God. Jesus Christ led a sinless life as the perfect lamb of God, voluntarily dying on the cross to take the punishment for our sins, thereby giving us redemption from spiritual death, so that we might have a personal relationship with the Father. We are justified by the grace of God through faith, not works. Following justification, we are sanctified through the work of the Holy Spirit as we cconsecrate our lives to Jesus Christ and His Word.
